Bethany Payne ~ Artistic Director/Owner:
Bethany Started dancing at the Academy of Ballet at the age of 3 years old under the direction of Sandra Hasstedt in the styles of Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Pointe, and Hip Hop. She danced with the Academy for 15 years until she took over as owner of the studio at the age of 18. In High School Bethany was a 4 year White River High School Cheerleader. During her Junior and Senior years as a cheerleader, she achieved the Award as an All American Cheerleader. In 2018 Bethany had the honor to take some of her dancers to California and dance with the world renowned choreographer Travis Wall and dance three performances for him in San Diego California. Bethany took over the Academy in 2016. She still remains to dance but is now focused on being the owner of the Academy of Ballet and showing everyone her creativity in all her choreography.
Bethany teaches: Creative Movement "A", Ballet 1, Ballet 4, Int/Adv Ballet, Jazz 1/2, Jazz 3, Jazz 4, Cont 1, Cont 2, Cont 3, Cont 4, Hip Hop 1/2, Hiphop 3, Hip Hop 4.
Melody Olson ~ Teacher:
Melody began dancing at the Academy of Ballet in 1989 where she was trained by Sandra Hasstedt. She continues taking classes in ballet and tap and has been teaching at the academy for the last two years. In addition to dance, she teaches piano lessons and directs her church children’s choir. She makes her home in Enumclaw with her husband Casey and her three children. Psalm 149:3

Juliette Hiller ~ Teacher:
Juliette Started dancing at 6 years old learning from several different schools and instructors until she was 15. She studied performing arts in Scotland and led a dance team in the Fringe Festival. She also studied Karate, and served in the United States Army. She started dancing at the Academy of Ballet in 2011, and lives in Enumclaw with her husband, Brian, and homeschool their five children.
Juliette teaches: Creative Movement "B", Pre Ballet.
Shanee Luk ~ Teacher:
Shanée has been dancing since she was three. She has trained in ballet, jazz, theater dance, and tap, and continues to take class all over the Puget Sound area. She is a regular performer with ManeStage Theatre Company in Puyallup. Most recent shows include Big Fish, A Christmas Story, and White Christmas.
