We have some exciting news.. Fall classes begin in 4 days! This will be containing important information for the upcoming year so make sure to read carefully. We can't wait to see all your faces! For our new students, Welcome to the Academy! We are so excited to have you! Here is some information you will need to know before classes begin on October 5th, The studio entrance for classes is on the side of the building. Our Parent lounge is located in the front of the building (Main entrance). There you can relax while your child is in class. The restroom is also located in the parent lounge and is not accessible from the studios. There is an emergency restroom for the studios but we ask that you have your child use the parent lounge restroom before classes. With Covid restrictions in place to keep all of you safe and us open for business, rules are a little different then normal years. Below is all that information you need to know for that.

Our 2020/2021 dance season will consistoftwo shows!
If restrictions start to relieve by November and a Winter Show looks promising, we will be planning on having our 2nd annual Winter Show on January 9th, 2021! This show will be packed fullofthe holiday spirit and so much fun for the whole family! We will keep you updated if we think this show will be able to happen.
AllBallet, Jazz, Contemporary and Tap will be in this show (No Hip Hop).
Our endofthe year annual School Performance will take place on June 26th & 27th 2021. This performance is the big one! Assuming Covid restrictions will be gone by then, over 1,000 people will attended this amazing show! On the 26th there will be a 2:00 pm show and a 7:00 pm and then on the 27th a 2:00 pm show. All dance classes will be in this performance.
Events planned for the 2020/2021 dance season:
Annual Silent Auction: December, 2020 (exact date to be decided)
2nd Annual Winter Show: January 9th, 2021
Annual Chocolate Fundraiser: April, 2021 (starting date to be decided)
36th Endofthe Year Performance: June 26th & 27th, 2021
Of course as we go through the restrictions for the phases we will update you if anything changes for these events.
Holiday break dates (no classes):
November 25th - 27th, 2020 (Thanksgiving break)
December 21st - Jan 1st, 2021 (Christmas break)
February 15th - 19th, 2021 (Mid winter break)
April 19th - 23rd, 2021 (Spring break)
Covid-19 rules and precautions.
These our the Phase 2 studio rules. Once we start moving into other phases, we will update on all the new information you will need to know.
Sanitizing stations are located around the studio. Ballet barres and other items touched during classes will be sanitized between classes as well.
All teachers will be wearing face coverings while teaching.
Face coverings are recommend for all students 6 and up.
New students and parents can accompany their child upstairs to the studio on the first day of classes but will be asked to wear a face covering along with leaving once the class begins. There will be no "watch days" while in Phase 2. Parents are to drop the student(s) off in the studio entrance (side door to building) and your teacher will be in the studio waiting for you. Once in Phase 3/4 our watch day will come back to the last class of each month and thats when parents/family will be able to watch their student during class.
Once classes are over, the teacher will walk all students under the age of8 to their parents in the studio entrance (side door to building). No student will be allowed to exit the building alone.
With the Phase 2 rules, we cannot have a lot of students in class at a time so some classes may be split in half for the time being. We are still receiving sign ups so we don't completely know the classes that would need to be split just yet but as of right now, Jazz 2 will be split. You will only be charged $40.00 for this class until we can combine the class again in Phase 3/4 and go back to the full hour class. If you have not yet filled out our online registration form, please do so before classes begin. If you are unsure of the class(s) your child will be in, reach out to me and we will get a class assignment for you. If you have been wanting to try a new style of dance or want to add another class, there is a ton of options for you depending on age. Ballet: 3 - 18 years old Jazz: 7 - 18 years old Tap: 7 - Adult Contemporary 7 1/2 - 18 years old Hip Hop 8 - 18 years old Feel free to contact me for more info on trying a new class. Don't forget to invite friends and family to take classes from us! October tuition is due on the first day of classes along with the $20.00 registration fee ($30.00 for multiple students). Monthly Tuition is due on the 1st of every month and late after the 15th. A $15.00 late fee will be added to your account if payed late.
