Our Favorite Tiny Ballerina Shoe

Our go-to for Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet 1 & Ballet 2! We love canvas split-sole shoes because they’re soft, flexible, and allow little feet to point beautifully. The split sole moves with the foot, helping dancers develop a more natural, defined point from the very beginning. ✨
Our Favorite junior/teen Ballet Shoe

For Ballet 3 through Advanced, we recommend canvas split-sole shoes only. Canvas is lightweight and flexible, allowing the shoe to move beautifully with the foot rather than restricting it. A split sole helps dancers fully articulate through the foot, strengthen their point, and create the clean, elongated lines we’re looking for as technique advances. ✨
Ballet Tights for Twinkle Toes

For our younger dancers, we recommend pink convertible ballet tights! They’re soft, comfortable, and give dancers that classic, polished ballet look. The convertible foot also makes them easy to adjust while still looking beautiful and clean for class and performances. ✨
Favorite Bobby Pins for Ballet Buns

The secret to a secure, beautiful ballet bun! These are our go-to bobby pins for keeping every hair perfectly in place through class, rehearsals, and performances. A ballet bag essential every dancer should keep stocked! ✨

A Leotard We LOVE

One of the things that makes AOB special is that we don’t require everyone to wear the same leotard or color! We want our dancers to express themselves and choose colors and styles that make them feel confident and excited to dance. This is one of our favorites, but make it your own! 💕✨
Favorite Tights for Junior/Teen

For Ballet 4 through Advanced, we recommend pink tights with a back seam for the most polished, professional look. The seam beautifully emphasizes the shape of the legs, creates the appearance of longer, cleaner lines, and gives dancers that classic ballet aesthetic. ✨
