Academy of Ballet specializes in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop

The Academy of Ballet was established in 1985 in Enumclaw WA by Sandra and Glen Hasstedt. In late 2015 the Academy transitioned to Buckley WA and Bethany Payne took over as the Artistic Director/Owner. The Academy holds two outstanding performances a year, a winter show and our annual end of the year performance. Our dance seasons start in September and end in June with the summer months off for a nice little break for all the students.

We are excited to announce starting Septemeber 2024 we will have a new Compitition team at AOB!! Auditions will be held in August. This is for Intermediate/Advanced dancers. Contact us now for more info!

This year, we will be having our 4th Annual Winter show taking place December 3rd, 2023 along with our 39th Annual End of the Year Performance June 22nd & 23rd, 2024!
We are located in downtown Buckley, WA.

A note from our Artistic Director/Owner:
Hello inquiring AOB dancers and families! As I am going into my 9th year as owner my goal is to not only teach the highest quality of instruction, choreography and performance it's also to teach skills that will last a lifetime. I love that my older dancers that've been with us for years can come to me anytime to discuss life, dance, or just something random. I love and adore each and every one of my students. Here at AOB, we truly are one big family. I am so excited to announce we have three new teachers joining us this season. Head over to our "meet our team" tab to check them out. It does sometimes take a little while to get back to my website inquiries/phone calls as its just myself running everything.
